Current Projects

Susie continued working on her second Newborn Bonnet & Wrap Set, and is on track to finish by the end of the week. She also cast on a Slo’ Moe using various leftovers, and worked a bit on her Threshold. She finished the first of her Ripple Ribbed Socks and is cruising down the leg of the second.

Danie picked back up her First Hermione’s Everyday Socks, and finished the body of her handspun cardigan. She’s less than thrilled with the bottom hem treatment, and will be swatching alternatives. She also finished the first of her Dude Socks, and is zooming on the second, and started a new weaving project.

Future Projects

Susie will be knitting Trego with the handspun Danie so generously gave her.

Danie finished several earbud pouches based on Mary Keenan’s Earbud Pouch pattern, but modified for her toe-up preferences.

Current Projects

Susie started her second Newborn Bonnet & Wrap Set, and finished the bonnet. She also made some progress on her Threshold and has past the sleeve-joining point, and started her Ripple Ribbed Socks.

Danie has been crushing the cables in her Tour de Fleece handspun in a modified Elda Cardigan.

Susie has been enjoying Slow TV‘s National Knitting Evening on Netflix, and you know there is some serious knits on screen on a show like that.

Danie worked on her Dude Socks, her Royal Socks, and her First Hermione’s Everyday Socks. She also made significant progress on her Rhinebeck Campside Cardi – hitting the major milestone of splitting for sleeves and zooming down the body.

Susie picked back up her Glenfiddich sweater and finished a couple more squares on her Oh Scrap Blanket. She also started newborn wrap as a commission, and worked more on her Circuitous Ribbed Socks, cast on a sock test knit using KnitKnot Studios SlipKnot Sock in Freaky Friday. She also made progress on her A Night at the Theatre after resolving a son of a stitch.

Susie maintained momentum on her Oh Scrap Blanket, finishing 3 squares. She also worked on her Circuitous Ribbed Socks and her Pere Lachaise Socks, and got to the lace border on her Leventry shawl. She also cast on her Mother’s Day Cast-On projectA Night at the Theatre shawl out of Leading Men Fiber Arts Soliloquy in Ol’ Blue Eyes.

Danie knit a bit on her Featherweight Cardigan and on her Handspuns Headwinds. She also knit on sock after sock after sock after sock – her Dude Socks, her Royal Socks, her Loud-Mouth Socks, and her First Hermione’s Everyday Socks. She also cast on her Mother’s Day Cast-On project – a Campside Cardi out of One Twisted Tree Lavish in Shrewd Lady Mary. She also spun on her Greenwood Fiberworks handspun.

Susie acquired two skeins of Luna Grey Fiber Arts Celeste in Moss, and a new double-shot project bag from Kitchen Counter Crafter.

Danie bought a used large head for her spinning wheel, and a sweater’s quantity of Cormo fleece to spin.

Danie is going to cast on all the socks!!! She’s also going to frog her Corrugated Box to knit the Campside Cardi by Alicia Plummer for her 2016 Mother’s Day Cast-on and Rhinebeck sweater.

Susie is going to knit A Night at the Theater using a Soliloquy gradient set by Leading Men Fiber Arts for her 2016 Mother’s Day Cast-On.

We’re going to the Knitting Pipeline Retreat February 26-27, 2015 in Washington, IL!

Finished Projects

Susie started and finished her Cousteau Hat using With Pointed Sticks Rollerball Worsted in Ice Queen. It is her new favorite hat and she is basically living it now that it’s turned bitterly cold.

Danie finished her Fuzzy Hat, complete with fur trim and pom-pom. She also finished a pair of kid mittens, sheep sweaters, Bronco socks (with proven winning mojo!), some boot socks, and a Bluebird of Happiness.

Current Projects

Danie worked on a pair of husband socks, and on her Stained Glass Sock Yarn Blanket. She also started a pair of mittens out of her Fuzzy Hat leftovers, and has decided to make them fingerless mitts instead. She also started amazing self-striping socks using Kirbywirby Self-Striping Fingering in Circus Poodles.

Susie worked on the second of her Socks in the Name of Science and has just gotten to the heel flap, and the first sleeve of her Glenfiddich sweater. She also cast on her Infinito, and has pretty much knit on nothing else since.
