Episode 80 – Shawl Series 5: Stylin’ & Profilin’

In this episode, the girls talk shawl styling, and many other things in this longer-than-usual episode.

Listen here.

Contest

To win a copy of the lovely View from the Charles shawl pattern by the wonderful Jen of the Down Cellar Studio podcast, post in the thread on the Ravelry group.

Finished Projects

Susie finished her Wild Goose Shawlette, and it is fabulous. She found it to be a super quick knit, and very very enjoyable.

Danie finished her Box Troll Mittens, and two adorable mice.

Current Projects

Danie knit more on her Corrugated Box, her Fuzzy Hat, her third mouse, and her Equatorial Nights cowl. She has carefully planned out milestones to complete it for the Oh! Loops Harry Potter KAL 2015.

Susie worked a lot on her Rainbow Connection Socks, and a little on her Anemone shawl. She cast on a Candy Cane Stocking using Valley Yarns Northampton Sport in Ocean Heather and Natural, and a Glenfiddich sweater in Miss Babs Yowza in Cloak. Her best-laid fitting plans ran into a son of a stitch, but she’s re-plotted her course.

Review

Danie reviews Sun Valley Fiber‘s Yarn Buddy.

New to Me

Susie has been enjoying the audio podcast Skein Enable and the video podcast Stitched in Sweden.

Project Reconsideration

Susie reconsiders her Gridelin and her Aranami shawl.

  1. I am new to your podcast, and have to say how much I enjoyed this episode! Reminded me of the fabulous times I spend with my best friend, getting silly and laughing over anything. Your podcast turned a rough day into a pleasant evening. Thank you so much.
