Current Projects

Susie knit through the heel flap and has just started the turn on her first Bang Whiz sock and will be putting in what has become her standard heel – the double gusset heel. She also knit on her Ozukuri Lace Shawl, and the rows are getting so very long. She cast on a Chou Cowl using Twisted Fiber Arts Arial Evolution in Phantom, and a Dinner in the Eiffel Tower Shawl using Malabrigo Arroyo in Borrajas.

Danie spun two bobbins full of singles and is planning on doing a 2-ply. She also knit a bit on her Awesome Socks, and on her glorious Sugared Violets. She added a huge square to her Stained Glass Sock Blanket, and is rapidly closing in on the hem of her Mama Vertebrae.

Enhance the Stash

Danie purchased some gorgeous chocolate cormo from Clabber Glynn Farm.

Susie purchased some Berroco Vintage in Azure, and Another Crafty Girl Strong Sock in I Can Fix It!

Review

  1. Loved your podcast, as usual! Not sure if you listen to the Carolina FIber Girls podcast, if so then you may already be aware of how they handle traveling without their podcast mate. If not, let me explain. When one of the pair travels to a fiber event she brings a mini “flat” image of the other. Similar to Flat Stanley. I have seen flat Ann and flat Janis on Instagram. I think this might work for you and would be so fun! And everyone gets to go to fiber events:)
