Episode 48 -Starting a New Sweater

In this episode, the girls talk about what they do when preparing to start a new sweater. Danie releases a toddler mitten pattern, and Susie makes steady progress on her lace.

Listen here.

Danie released a pattern – the Triangle Thumb Toddler Mittens!

Danie is also giving away a copy of her pattern! To enter to win, please be a member of the PGK&S Ravelry group, and post in the contest thread telling us which two colors you’d knit the mittens in.

Finished Projects

Danie finished her Dinna Fash Mittens. She modified the tops slightly, and lightly felted them, and believes these will be her hardcore winter mittens. She also finished weaving her scarf, and is happy with how it turned out.

Current Projects

Susie started her Chill Chaser Cardigan. She’s modifying it to eliminate the slight flair to the bottom of the sweater, and has finished the body and is working up the left front. She also worked a fair amount on her Mayapple Shawl but she has a long way to go still.

Danie worked on her Broncos Socks. She also swatched and cast on for her Chill Chaser Hoodie.

Susie loves LaviShea’s new packaging, and the new Citronella lotion bar for keeping mosquitoes from eating her family.
